PSCA ‘Mera Pyara’ team reunites two missing sisters with parents

LAHORE, Mar 16 (APP): The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) “Mera Pyara” team successfully reunited two missing young sisters with their parents through timely response and coordinated field efforts.
According to a PSCA spokesperson, a five-year-old girl along with her six-month-old baby sister had lost their way and were later found unattended. Both children were shifted to the Child Protection Centre Lahore to ensure their safety. The PSCA “Mera Pyara” field team initiated efforts to trace their family by engaging the elder child in conversation to obtain useful information.
During the interaction, the child could recall only one word, “Jalalpur.” Using this clue, the team started tracing the possible location, as several areas share the same name.
The spokesperson said when the name Raiwind was mentioned during the conversation, the child immediately recognised it. The team then took the children to Jalalpur Raiwind, where the girl identified her neighbourhood and guided the officials to her home.
After locating the parents and completing the necessary legal and verification procedures, the children were safely handed over to their family.
The spokesperson added that the PSCA “Mera Pyara” team had so far reunited more than 60,000 missing children and vulnerable individuals with their families.
He urged citizens to report information about missing individuals through Emergency Helpline 15 (Option 3) so that timely assistance could be provided.
