Three members of ‘Makha Gang’ arrested in Karachi operation

Pakistan Rangers Sindh arrested three suspects belonging to the “Makha Gang” during an intelligence-based operation in the Gulshan-e-Hadeed area of Karachi.

KARACHI, Mar 16 (APP): Pakistan Rangers Sindh arrested three suspects belonging to the “Makha Gang” during an intelligence-based operation in the Gulshan-e-Hadeed area of Karachi.
According to a Rangers spokesperson on Monday, the arrested suspects were identified as Hafeez son of Abdul Haq, Ali Hassan son of Abdul Sattar and Zohaib son of Shah Nawaz.
During the operation, Rangers personnel recovered three mobile phones and cash from their possession.
The suspects, along with their accomplices, were allegedly involved in several incidents of robbery and street crime in different areas of Karachi, including Shah Town, Ghaghar Phatak and other parts of Gulshan-e-Hadeed, where they snatched mobile phones and cash at gunpoint.
Officials said that suspect Zohaib also used to rent out pistols for use in robberies and street crime.
The arrested suspects were described as habitual offenders and several FIRs had already been registered against them at different police stations in the city.
Raids were being carried out to arrest other members of the gang, while the detained suspects along with recovered items had been handed over to police for further legal action.
