Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited various areas of the federal capital to review the security arrangements made for Taraweeh prayers during the holy month of Ramazan.
IGP Rizvi reviews Taraweeh security arrangements across capital

ISLAMABAD, Mar 15 (APP): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited various areas of the federal capital to review the security arrangements made for Taraweeh prayers during the holy month of Ramazan.
An official told APP on Sunday that the IGP Rizvi inspected security deployment at Masjids, worship places and other important locations to ensure effective security measures across the city.
During the visit, he also met police officers and personnel performing their duties and appreciated their dedication and professional performance.

Rizvi said that comprehensive security arrangements had been put in place to provide a safe environment for citizens attending Taraweeh prayers during Ramazan.
He said that police officers and personnel had been deployed at Masjids and other sensitive locations across Islamabad to maintain law and order.

The IGP Rizvi directed the officers to perform their duties with vigilance, responsibility and professionalism and ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property at all times.
He added that Islamabad Police were utilizing all available resources to ensure public safety and maintain a peaceful environment in the federal capital.
