MNA Dr Mehreen Bhutto has said that Islamophobia is a serious threat not only to Muslims’ fundamental rights but also to global human values and that the rising hatred, prejudice, and discrimination against Muslims worldwide is alarming.

SUKKUR, Mar 15 (APP): MNA Dr Mehreen Bhutto has said that Islamophobia is a serious threat not only to Muslims’ fundamental rights but also to global human values and that the rising hatred, prejudice, and discrimination against Muslims worldwide is alarming.
In her statement issued here on Sunday, promoting interfaith harmony, tolerance, and mutual respect is a pressing need, she added.
She said the global community must take effective measures to protect religious freedoms and curb growing intolerance.
She said that Islam’s true teachings are based on peace, love, compassion, and justice, which can not be distorted by prejudice or hatred. We must work together to build societies that promote respect, equality, and harmony, she further added.
“Every individual, regardless of faith, deserves to live with dignity, protection, and freedom”, she emphasizes.
