DIG Tariq checks security duties at Masjids, checkpoints during Fajr
ISLAMABAD, Mar 15 (APP): Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq inspected police duties at various mosques and checkpoints during Fajr prayers to review security arrangements in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Sunday that the DIG visited different locations and checked the alertness and performance of police officers deployed on duty.
He directed the officers and personnel to remain vigilant, ensure effective checking and perform their responsibilities with dedication to maintain law and order.
Muhammad Jawad Tariq emphasized that Islamabad Police were taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain peace in the capital.
He further directed that strict monitoring and effective security arrangements should be maintained at mosques and important checkpoints, especially during prayer timings.
The DIG Tariq reiterated that ensuring the protection of citizens’ lives and property remained the top priority of Islamabad Police.
