ISLAMABAD, Mar 12 (APP): Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Defence and Member of the National Assembly Sardar Fatahullah Khan Mian Khel in a meeting with Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Senator Rubina Khalid Thursday discussed measures for strengthening social protection initiatives and expanding support for deserving families across the country.
MNA Ahmed Karim Kundi was also present during the meeting.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, particularly social protection programmes and ongoing efforts to assist underprivileged segments of society.
They also discussed steps to further improve the effectiveness and outreach of the BISP programme.
Senator Rubina Khalid reaffirmed her commitment to expanding social welfare initiatives and ensuring that assistance reaches deserving households in a transparent and efficient manner.
The meeting also included discussion on public welfare projects aimed at improving the living conditions of vulnerable communities.
