Man killed, another injured in road accident

SIALKOT, Mar 12 (APP): A man was killed and another injured in a road accident near Dogran Wali stop on Chawinda–Zafarwal Road.

According to a spokesperson for Rescue 1122, two motorcycles coming from opposite directions collided with each other. Meanwhile, a steel-loaded trolley coming from Chawinda towards Zafarwal ran over one of the bikers.

As a result, Awais, 28, son of Munawar and a resident of Dugri Harian suffered injuries and died on-the-spot, while Mazhar, 24, son of Mustafa and a resident of Dugri Harian, sustained back and lower limb injuries along with abrasions on his left arm.

The body of the deceased was shifted to Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital, while the injured was shifted to THQ Hospital Pasrur for medical treatment.
