IHC grants time to remove objections on plea

ISLAMABAD, Mar 11 (APP): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday granted time to the petitioner to remove the objections of registrar office on plea seeking shifting of PTI founder to Shifa International Hospital for medical treatment.
The court also sought details of other applications related to PTI founder’s transfer to the hospital. Justice Inaam Ameen Minhas remarked that if there are more than one application, they will be heard together.
Justice Inaam Ameen Minhas heard Uzma Khan’s application along with the objections of the Registrar’s Office. Petitioner’s lawyer Uzair Bhandari appeared and said that the Registrar’s Office has raised some objections to the application and should be given one week’s time to remove them.
The court remarked that various identical applications have been filed to the IHC. The lawyer said that this is the first such application by the current petitioner. The court said that we will also ask the office how many more such applications are pending.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case, giving the time to remove objections.
