FAISALABAD, Mar 10 (APP):Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has intensified operation against defaulting housing schemes and sealed offices of three schemes on Millat Road for failing to clear outstanding dues.
FDA spokesman said that the action was taken after repeated notices issued to the developers of certain housing schemes for payment of their liabilities but they paid no heed to FDA requests. Therefore, a special team was constituted under the supervision of Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin to launch an effective recovery campaign against defaulters.
During operation led by Estate Officer Aneeb Aslam Randhawa, the FDA enforcement team contacted the developers of several housing schemes located on Millat Road and asked them to immediately deposit their outstanding dues. However, when the developers failed to comply and continued delaying the payment, the FDA team sealed offices of three schemes including Kamal Villas, SMD City and JM Valley established on the land of Chak 121/R-B and Chak 196/R-B.
The developers were also warned to deposit all pending dues immediately in a lump sum, failing which further legal action would be initiated along with heavy penalties in accordance with the law, he added.
