The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Tuesday issued a power suspension programme for Wednesday, in various areas of its region, due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

ISLAMABAD, Mar 10 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Tuesday issued a power suspension programme for Wednesday, in various areas of its region, due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, in the Islamabad Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm for feeders including NIH, T&T, Bani Kahu-I, Bani Kahu-II, Tret, Golf City, Park View, Athal and Shahpur.
Similarly, in the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm in areas fed by the RIC and Rahimabad feeders.
In the Rawalpindi City Circle, the feeders supplying Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Tehmasamabad and Dhok Hukam Dad will remain without electricity from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Meanwhile, in the Attock Circle, electricity supply from Attock Rural, Teen Mela and Bagh Neelab feeders will remain suspended during the same hours from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm.
In GSO Circle, from 07:00 am to 08:00 pm, Power Transformer T-1 at 132KV GSS D.S Bilawal, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang, 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri, from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm, 132KV T/L new Wah Bahter More, and surrounding areas will remain closed.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
