TURBAT, Mar 09 (APP):Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Monday inaugurated Green Bus Service in Turbat, to facilitate residents of Kech District with modern, safe, and high-quality public transportation.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarfraz Bugti said that the government is prioritizing people-centric projects to improve daily life across Balochistan. Senior cabinet members, including Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Mir Asim Kurd Gello, and Haji Barkat Rind, also attended the ceremony.
The chief minister said the government was introducing policies to restore people’s trust in state institutions. He highlighted that progress in the education sector, noting that 3,200 previously closed schools have been reopened and teachers were being recruited strictly on merit.
Sarfraz Bugti apprised about the achievements in the Makran Division, particularly in Gwadar, where he said all schools were reopned, terming it part of the the government’s education reforms. He stressed that sustainable development in Balochistan was not possible without the prioritizing education.
Sarfraz Bugti urged Baloch youth, intellectuals, and educated segments to work hard stressing that development, education, and peace were the only viable paths forward for progress and prosperity.
He noted that the provincial government is coordinating closely with the federal government, including consultations with the finance and petroleum ministers, to develop a comprehensive national policy addressing economic, social, and regional challenges.
Reaffirming his commitment, Bugti said the Balochistan government would continue efforts to promote peace, development, education, and improved public services, with the goal of putting the province firmly on the path to progress and prosperity.
