Minister Khel Das urges unity, reaffirms govt’s commitment to defend nation and Islam

ISLAMABAD, Mar 8 (APP):Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Khel Das Kohistani reiterated government’s resolve under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir to defend the nation and powerful action against forces threatening Islam, humanity, and national unity and sovereignty.

              Talking to a local news channel, the minister stated that Pakistan will defend the nation while promoting regional peace, supporting dialogue and responding firmly to any threats against its sovereignty or dignity.

             He warned that Pakistan, as the only Islamic nuclear power will respond decisively to any aggression, particularly targeting India, whose actions threaten regional peace and undermine Pakistan’s sovereignty and

dignity.

          He added that any miscalculation by India and Afghanistan will be met with a strong and proportional response, sending a clear message that Pakistan will not tolerate intimidation or provocations.

            The minister also criticized Afghanistan for allowing its soil to be used against Pakistan, saying such actions cannot be ignored and that Pakistan reserves the right to take strict measures to protect its borders and citizens.

            He reiterated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, Pakistan’s foreign policy is firmly focused on safeguarding national security while maintaining strategic vigilance against hostile neighbors.

         Khel Das Kohistani further emphasized Pakistan’s active participation in initiatives defending Muslim communities worldwide, highlighting the country’s commitment to justice, regional stability, peace and the protection of Islamic

values.

           He concluded that Pakistan will act with unity, resolve and strength, ensuring that no external force can compromise its sovereignty, dignity or security.
