Sindh Governor, CM pay tributes to Women

KARACHI, Mar 08 (APP): Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Sunday paid tributes to the women on International Women’s Day.
They said that the theme of International Women’s Day 2026 is “Right, Justice, and Action for All Women and Girls,” is highly important and timely.
The Governor of Sindh and the Chief Minister said that providing equal rights and justice to women and girls is the hallmark of a fair and civilized society.
Today is a day to pay tribute to the sacrifices, struggles, and tireless efforts of women, they said adding that Islam is the greatest advocate of women’s rights and grants them a place of dignity and honor.
They said that empowering women is the foundation of a strong and prosperous nation.
From homes to parliament, women have proven their abilities in every field, the said adding that providing daughters with equal opportunities in education, skills, and employment is our top priority.
