PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti calls for urgent evacuation of students from Iran amid war crisis

ISLAMABAD, Mar 8 (APP):President of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), has called for the immediate evacuation of Kashmiri students stranded in Iran, expressing concern over their safety amid the worsening situation there and urging the Indian government to take swift steps to ensure their safe return.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mehbooba Mufti in a statement issued on X appealed to relevant authorities to ensure the safe evacuation of Kashmiri students stuck in Iran.
She said the rapidly deteriorating situation in Iran has put thousands of Kashmiri students studying there in
distress.
She said we are expecting that the relevant authroties will personally intervene to facilitate the safe return of the stranded students and ensure that immediate steps are taken for their evacuation from Iran.
She also urged the Ministry of External Affairs and External Affairs to initiate evacuation efforts at the earliest to bring the Kashmiri students back safely.
