Capital security reviewed; no room for lawlessness: IGP Rizvi

ISLAMABAD, Mar 06 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited different areas of the federal capital to review the overall law and order situation and security arrangements.

An official told APP on Friday that the IGP Rizvi met police officers and personnel deployed on security duties and directed them to remain alert while performing their responsibilities.

IGP Rizvi appreciated the dedication of the officers and encouraged them to continue performing their duties with commitment and professionalism.

IGP Rizvi said he was proud of the brave and dedicated personnel of Islamabad Police who were performing their duties with courage and determination.

He said police patrolling and operational teams remain on high alert across the city to ensure peace and security.

The IGP reiterated that law and order would be maintained at all costs and strict action would be taken against anyone involved in mischief or violation of the law.

He said no one would be allowed to take the law into their own hands and urged citizens to cooperate with police and avoid becoming part of any unlawful activity.
