RAJANPUR, , Mar 5 (APP):Regional Police Officer (RPO) Muhammad Azhar Akram of Dera Ghazi Khan conducted a special visit to Rajanpur district on Wednesday, reviewing police operations and meeting citizens under the Punjab government’s open-door policy.
Upon arrival at the District Police Office, RPO Akram was received by a guard of honour. During his visit, he held an open court at the DPO office, personally listening to public complaints and issuing immediate instructions to officers for merit-based action.
The session was attended by all circle officers, station house officers (SHOs), and investigation officers of the district. RPO Akram conducted a detailed review of the overall crime situation in the district, including investigations into murder, robbery with murder, sexual assault, kidnapping, oil theft, and cases involving surrendered petty criminals. He directed that investigations into cases of surrendered criminals be completed on merit and submitted to courts without delay.
During the visit, the RPO formally inspected the District Police Office, examining records across various branches to ensure timely completion, transparency, and accuracy in police operations.
