PESHAWAR, Mar 04 (APP):A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI ) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Central, led by its Ameer Abdul Wasi, visited the Consulate General of Iran in Peshawar to express deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences on the demise of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
During the visit, the delegation met with Iranian Consul General Ali Banafshekhah and conveyed solidarity with the leadership and people of Iran.
The delegation strongly condemned brutal attacks and acts of aggression on Iran, terming them a grave threat to regional and global peace.
The delegation included former MNA and Provincial General Secretary JI KP, Sabir Hussain Awan; Deputy Ameers Maulana Dr Hidayatullah, Syed Sohaibuddin Kakakhel, and Haji Muhammad Aslam; Chairman IRS Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Khalil; Provincial Deputy Secretary Shah Zaman Durrani; and President Alkhidmat Foundation KP Central & South, Khalid Waqas.
