SARGODHA, Mar 04 (APP):A boys and girls karate championship was organized at the Sports Gymnasium Sargodha
under the Ramazan Night Sports Festival on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Hussain
Amjad Raza Chaudhry on Wednesday.
According to the sports department, athletes from various categories participated in the event and showcased their skills, where female players specifically demonstrated exceptional confidence and courage, reflecting the progress of women in sports in the district.
District Sports Officer (DSO) Saima Manzoor, while addressing the participants, thanked the players, coaches, and officials, stating that karate serve as an excellent medium for teaching discipline, self-confidence, and self-defense skills.
She further emphasized that the Ramazan Night Sports Festival was achieving success due to the vision and personal interest of the Deputy Commissioner Hussain Amjad Raza Chaudhry in promoting sports.
