Rescue Muzaffargarh responds to 4,991 emergencies during last month

MUZAFFARGARH, Mar 04 (APP):Rescue 1122 Muzaffargarh responded to a total of 4,991 emergencies during the last month,
maintaining an impressive average response time of seven minutes, according to
District Emergency Officer Engineer Obaidullah Khan.
Releasing the monthly performance report, Engineer Obaidullah Khan emphasized the critical importance of installing and maintaining functional fire hydrants, particularly in congested and densely populated urban areas with high-rise buildings. He noted that accessible and operational hydrant systems are essential to effectively manage fire incidents and safeguard lives and property.
During the operations, Rescue 1122 successfully assisted 5,026 individuals. Among them, 2,542 victims were provided first aid on the spot, while 2,384 individuals were administered first aid and shifted to hospitals for further medical treatment. Unfortunately, 100 people were pronounced dead at the scene of
various incidents.
