ATTOCK, Mar 4 (APP):The police arrested two suspected drug traffickers and seized more than 10 kilograms in a significant anti-narcotics operation, the police officials said on Wednesday.
According to police, a police team intercepted a suspicious carry van at the Khushal Garh check post during a targeted crackdown aimed at preventing the movement of illegal drugs from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa into Punjab.
A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the recovery of 10.56 kilograms of hashish, which had been carefully concealed beneath the seats in an apparent attempt to evade detection, they added.
The two suspects, identified as Babar Sher and Abdullah were taken into custody at the scene.
The police registered a case against the accused and started investigations .
