ISLAMABAD, Mar 03 (APP):Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary on Tuesday said Pakistan’s security forces had successfully thwarted infiltration attempts by terrorists in parts of northern Balochistan, reaffirming that the country’s borders remain secure.
In a statement posted on X, he said enemy elements attempted to infiltrate and launch ground attacks in the districts of Qilla Saifullah, Nushki, and Chaman. He added that security forces responded promptly and foiled the attempts.
The minister said dozens of terrorists were killed in the retaliatory action, while several others were injured and forced to flee.
He further said that another terrorist attempt in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was also foiled, with a large number of militants eliminated during the operation.
“These operations are clear evidence that our armed forces remain vigilant, professional, and fully prepared at all times to defend the motherland,” he said, adding that the enemy, in whatever form it appears, would face a crushing defeat on every front.
Dr. Tariq also paid tribute to a brave soldier of Frontier Corps Balochistan who embraced martyrdom while defending the country. He said the martyrs symbolize the nation’s strength and resolve.
He said that Pakistan’s borders are secure and that the nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces. “There is no space on this soil for elements that seek to spread unrest and instability in Pakistan,” he added.
