ISLAMABAD, Mar 03 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Tuesday issued a power suspension programme for Wednesday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, power supply from NIH, T&T, B/Kahu-I, B/Kahu-II, Tret, Golf City, Park View, Athal and Shahpur feeders under Islamabad Circle will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Similarly, electricity supply from Attock Rural, Teen Mela, Bagh Nelab and Fawara Chowk feeders in Attock Circle will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Under GSO Circle, power supply from 132-KV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132-KV Kahuta City–Palandri transmission lines will remain closed from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, while 132KV T/L New Wah–Bahter More and surrounding areas will remain suspended from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
