IGP Rizvi reviews Safe City, traffic systems; directs enhanced use of technology

ISLAMABAD, Mar 03 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held a meeting with Director General Safe City / DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya and the IT team to review security and traffic management systems in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Tuesday that the meeting focused on aligning the city’s security and traffic management framework with modern requirements and emerging challenges.
 IGP Rizvi directed officers to further strengthen monitoring through Safe City cameras and ensure more effective utilization of advanced technology for surveillance and traffic regulation.
IGP Rizvi emphasized the need for a coordinated strategy to improve response mechanisms, enhance real-time monitoring, and provide a safer and more organized environment for citizens.
IGP Rizvi also stressed improving data integration, timely analysis, and smart policing methods to ensure better management of security and traffic flow across the capital.
He reiterated that Islamabad Police would continue adopting modern technological solutions to enhance public safety and service delivery.
