QUETTA, Mar 02 (APP):Baloch Culture Day commemorated here on Monday to highlight our cultural values, traditional dress, language, music and Baloch traditions.
The celebration is part of practical steps of the provincial government towards promote cultural activities, patronize artists and preserve historical heritage, said Balochistan Minister for Public Health Engineer, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, in a statement issued here.
He said Baloch culture is a hallmark of our identity, honor, traditions and history, adding, the Baloch nation has always set examples of peace, bravery and loyalty.
He said they reiterate our resolve to continue taking all possible steps to protect and promote our cultural heritage.
The Minister mentioned that connecting the younger generation with our traditions is the need of the hour so that our culture could be passed on safely to future generations.
He said cultural harmony strengthens national unity and the beauty of Balochistan lies in its colorful cultural diversity.
He also congratulated people of Balochistan on the occasion of Baloch Culture Day and expressed the hope that together they would keep the culture, language and traditions alive.
