ISLAMABAD, Mar 01 (APP):The district administration has enforced Section 144 in the federal capital, Islamabad, declaring all forms of public gatherings unlawful.
An official told APP on Sunday that under Section 144, any kind of assembly, protest, demonstration, or gathering will be considered illegal and may result in strict legal action.
He said citizens have been advised to avoid becoming part of any crowd, protest, or public assembly in order to maintain law and order.
The official warned that in case of any violation, authorities would proceed in accordance with the law without discrimination.
The administration urged residents to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and help ensure peace and stability in the capital.
