KP Governor invited to Norway to attend MoU signing on humanitarian cooperation

   ISLAMABAD, Feb 27 (APP):Board Member of the Norway-based non-governmental organization Special Children Organization of Norway (SCON), Zubair Mahmood, called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor House here on Friday on the special directives of SCON CEO Shahid Jameel.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to ongoing humanitarian, health and welfare initiatives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were discussed in detail. Both sides expressed their resolve to enhance mutual cooperation for the welfare and uplift of special children, persons with disabilities, underprivileged families and other vulnerable segments of society.
On the occasion, the Governor was formally invited to visit Norway in the last week of May along with a delegation. During the visit, he is scheduled to address the Pakistani community in Oslo and attend, as chief guest, the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SCON Oslo and Pakistan Red Crescent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The proposed agreement aims to promote joint collaboration in humanitarian projects, disability inclusion initiatives, improved access to healthcare services and community development. The partnership is expected to directly benefit vulnerable communities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other areas.
