SUKKUR, Feb 27 (APP): The leadership of Sukkur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SCCI), including Patron-in-Chief Waqar Mehmood Khan, FPCCI Vice President and Sindh Regional Chairman Bilal Waqar Khan, President Muhammad Khalid Kakezai, Senior Vice President Amit Kumar, and Vice President Malik Muhammad Owais Rais, along with other members, have strongly condemned the recent cross-border aggression from Afghanistan, which targeted civilian areas inside Pakistan.
In a joint statement on Friday, they termed the targeting of unarmed civilians as an act of open terrorism and a clear violation of international law. “Such cowardly acts are a conspiracy against regional peace and stability and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances,” they said.
The Chamber leadership expressed full solidarity with Pakistan’s brave armed forces and reaffirmed complete confidence in the wise leadership of the military high command, particularly the Field Marshal and Chief of Army Staff. They noted that under this leadership, Pakistan’s forces are ensuring national security and border protection, and the entire business community stands shoulder to shoulder with them.
They further stated that Sukkur Chamber will fully support every step taken by the Government of Pakistan to safeguard national sovereignty, dignity, and public safety. The evil designs of hostile elements and foreign forces will be defeated through national unity, they added.
The Chamber extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs and those affected by the aggression, urging the Government of Pakistan to respond effectively and decisively at diplomatic and legal levels.
