ISLAMABAD, Feb 27 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Friday held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan to discuss recent regional developments, including the situation along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
The deputy PM briefed him on Pakistan’s firm response to unprovoked Afghan aggression, noting that Pakistan Armed Forces carried out successful and targeted operations under ‘Operation Ghazb lil Haq’ to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity, a press release issued by the Foreign Office Spokesperson said.
During the conversation, the two sides also reaffirmed the importance of peace and stability in the region and agreed to stay closely engaged.
