ISLAMABAD, Feb 27 (APP):Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan on Thursday delivered a forceful message of resolve, declaring that Pakistan will never yield to pressure or expediency when it comes to the defense of its soil, its people, and its borders.
Condemning the Afghan regime’s targeting of innocent civilians, he said the protection of the motherland remains a sacred and non negotiable duty.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with APP, Rana Mashhood said the state stands fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity and will respond decisively to any act of aggression.
He stressed that Pakistan’s resolve is rooted not only in military strength but in the collective will of its people.
In a series of emphatic remarks, he condemned in the strongest terms any actions that place civilian lives at risk, warning that such moves undermine regional peace and stability.
He made it clear that Pakistan possesses the complete capacity, determination, and resolve to safeguard its frontiers and that no compromise will be tolerated on matters of national security.
Paying tribute to the armed forces, the PMYP chairman said the nation takes rightful pride in their professionalism, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment.
He added that the people of Pakistan and their military stand united like a wall of lead, vigilant and unshaken in the face of threats.
Rana Mashhood expressed concern that in recent years Afghan soil has unfortunately been used as a refuge by elements hostile to Pakistan.
He pointed to the continued presence of terrorist groups such as Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, which he said have remained involved in violence, instability, and acts of subversion against the country.
Referring to recent unprovoked aggression, he said Pakistan has sent a clear and unmistakable message that the defense of the motherland is beyond negotiation. Any form of adventurism, he warned, would invite a timely, effective, and proportionate response.
Reiterating Pakistan’s desire for peace and stability in the region, Rana Mashhood emphasized that while Pakistan seeks harmony with its neighbors, it will remain unwavering and resolute in safeguarding its sovereignty, people, and territorial integrity.
