ISLAMABAD, Feb 26 (APP):President Asif Ali Zardari Thursday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives in gas cylinder explosion in Torpal area of Chaman.
He conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families for the loss of precious lives of people, including children.
He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the deceased, patience for the bereaved families, and speedy recovery of the injured.
The President directed the relevant authorities to ensure the provision of best medical facilities to the injured.
“Establishment of an effective and functional regulatory system is essential to prevent such tragic incidents,” he added.
