ISLAMABAD, Feb 26 (APP):Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Safron, Engr. Amir Muqam, on Thursday praised the positive approach of the Joint Public Action Committee of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) and emphasized the importance of dialogue in addressing all outstanding issues.
“The Implementation Committee remains committed to fulfilling all promises made under existing agreements,” he said.
He said that both the federal government and the AJ&K administration are making serious efforts to implement agreed-upon demands, according to a news release.
He added that of the 37 demands presented by the committee, most have already been addressed, while work on the remaining issues is ongoing.
The minister urged the Action Committee to return to the negotiating table, describing dialogue as the most effective way forward. “The doors for discussion are open, and we are ready to meet to resolve any concerns,” he stated.
He further encouraged the committee leadership to adopt a meaningful and constructive approach to settle pending issues, emphasizing that cooperative negotiations are key to progress
