CHICHAWATNI, Feb 26 (APP):District Police Officer (DPO), Sahiwal, Muhammad Usman Tipu on Thursday held a series of open courts across four locations in tehsil to hear public complaints and address them on priority basis, according to a police spokesperson.
The open courts were organized in the City Police Station areas at Jamia Masjid Usmania, TMA Hall in Chichawatni, the Saddar Police Station jurisdictions at Government High School 16/11L and Government High School 18/11L.
A large number of residents attended the sessions, presenting their issues, complaints, and applications directly to the DPO.
He said Muhammad Usman Tipu listened the grievances and issued on-the-spot directives to relevant police officers to resolve them on merit.
Speaking on the occasion, the DPO said the purpose of the open courts was to ensure prompt resolution of public issues through direct engagement.
He reaffirmed that the police were committed to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens and ensuring the timely provision of justice.
