PESHAWAR, Feb 26 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday expressed deep sorrow over the demise of senior journalist Anila Shaheen of Peshawar.
In a condolence message, the Governor paid tribute to the late journalist’s valuable contributions to the field of journalism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that as a woman journalist, Anila Shaheen rendered remarkable services and her professional commitment would always be remembered.
He said the late journalist served as a role model for young girls aspiring to join the profession of journalism.
The Governor prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul, elevation of her ranks in Jannat ul Firdous, and patience and strength for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
