RAWALPINDI, Feb 25 (APP): A court on Wednesday sentenced a man to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs. 500,000 for molested an eight-year-old girl in the jurisdiction of Gujar Khan Police Station.
The convict, identified as Zaheer, was also directed to pay the fine as part of the sentence.
The case was registered in July 2024 at Gujar Khan Police Station.
The court awarded the sentence after finding the accused guilty on the basis of solid evidence and effective prosecution.
City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi, Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani, commended the SSP Investigation and the investigation and legal teams for securing the conviction through professional efforts.
