PESHAWAR, Feb 24 (APP):A police constable was martyred after unidentified assailants fire at him in South Waziristan on Tuesday.
According to police, the incident occurred in Wana, where unknown gunmen shot and killed Police Constable Ataullah.
Police said Constable Ataullah belonged to the Wazir tribe. Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the incident and are searching for the attackers.
Local residents expressed deep sorrow over the killing and urged authorities to take immediate and effective measures to restore peace in the area.
