BHAKKAR, Feb 24 (APP):The police put in place comprehensive security arrangements to ensure the people’s safety attending Taraweeh prayers during the holy month of Ramzan, a police spokesperson said on Tuesday.
He said additional personnel had been deployed outside major and sensitive mosques across the district.
The strict checking had been introduced at entry and exit points, while plainclothes officers had been assigned to monitor suspicious activity, he added.
The spokesperson said a coordinated strategy had been devised to safeguard the lives and property of citizens.
