QUETTA, Feb 23 (APP): The Balochistan government has expressed deep sorrow and condemnation over a tragic incident near the Nokor Chedgi border area in Panjgur, where armed assailants targeted civilians traveling in a vehicle.
In an official statement issued here, Aide to the Chief Minister on Political and Media Affairs Shahid Rind, denounced the attack as cowardly and utterly condemnable, stressing that no words could suffice to condemn such a heinous act.
Shahid Rind announced that directives have been issued for a full, transparent, and impartial investigation into the incident. Law enforcement agencies have been instructed to ensure the immediate arrest of those involved. He emphasized that the perpetrators will be brought to justice and warned that no one will be allowed to disrupt law and order in the province.
Reaffirming the government’s resolve to safeguard citizens, Shahid Rind added that the state is fulfilling its responsibilities with utmost seriousness and that negligence in this regard will not be tolerated. Authorities are currently collecting evidence and details, with the investigation process moving forward swiftly.
Expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, Shahid Rind assured that the provincial government stands firmly with them in this difficult time and will provide all possible support and assistance.
