DC meets citizens to resolve issues under open door policy

BAHAWALPUR, Feb 23 (APP):In line with the public-centric vision and open-door governance policy of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the district administration continues to take practical steps for the prompt resolution of citizens’ issues.
As part of these efforts, Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza held direct meetings with visitors at his office, listened to their concerns in detail, and issued immediate directions for their resolution on a priority basis. During the public interaction session, special priority was given to persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and women applicants.
The DC personally heard their cases and issued written instructions to relevant departments on the spot, emphasizing that no delay or negligence in addressing public grievances would be tolerated. He reiterated that, in accordance with the Chief Minister’s vision, public service remains the foremost responsibility of the district administration. Officials were directed to ensure swift progress on received complaints and to provide relief to applicants within stipulated timelines.
The DC further stated that all available resources would be utilized to ensure timely and effective resolution of public issues. Throughout the session, he attentively listened to citizens’ concerns, while visitors expressed satisfaction over the administration’s direct accessibility and prompt decision-making.
