Pakistani delegation concludes 2-day official visit to Ankara

ISLAMABAD, Feb 23 (APP): A government delegation from Pakistan, led by Minister of State for Interior Senator Talal Chaudhry, completed a successful two-day official visit to Ankara on Monday, aimed at expanding institutional cooperation and strengthening security ties between Pakistan and Türkiye.
During the visit, Chaudhry held a detailed meeting with the Turkish Deputy Interior Minister, where both sides agreed to further enhance institutional collaboration, deepen bilateral engagement, and expand communication channels between the two countries’ security and administrative institutions.
The Pakistani delegation also toured key Turkish departments, including the police, counterterrorism units, immigration services, and the narcotics control authority. Officials engaged in extensive discussions on professional cooperation, training opportunities, technological integration, and best practices in law-enforcement and internal security management.
On behalf of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Chaudhry conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to Turkish authorities on the occasion of Ramazan.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening peace and security cooperation, emphasizing that Pakistan and Türkiye remain close partners with shared strategic interests, mutual trust, and long-standing fraternal ties.
The visit, officials said, reflects the ongoing efforts of both governments to reinforce security collaboration, enhance operational coordination, and build a more robust framework for future cooperation.
