TASHKENT, Feb 23 (UzA/APP) : Within the framework of the Makkah Halal Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the International Chamber of Marketing and Trade of Malaysia. The document aims to strengthen ties between businesspeople from the two countries and expand practical cooperation.
The memorandum was signed by Davronbek Kurbanov, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and Zuber Bakri, President of the International Chamber of Marketing and Trade of Malaysia.
The agreement provides for the organization of mutual trade delegations and business missions, the joint implementation of investment projects, the exchange of market information, and active participation in international exhibitions and forums. In addition, it is planned to improve entrepreneurs’ skills by launching technical assistance and training programs.
The halal industry, agro-industrial sector, food industry, textile industry, and the service sector have been identified as priority areas of cooperation.
According to experts, this agreement will facilitate the implementation of joint projects, attract investment, and create new market opportunities for entrepreneurs from both countries.
