SARGODHA, Feb 23 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Husnain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry on Monday visited Government Girls Comprehensive High School and an under-construction primary school at Chak no 71 NB to review educational facilities and ongoing development work.
Accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Education Akhtar Baloch, the Deputy Commissioner inspected classrooms, laboratories, and cleanliness arrangements at the Comprehensive School.
During the visit, the DC received a detailed briefing from the Principal regarding academic activities, student attendance, and teaching standards.
He directed the school administration to maintain strict discipline and high standards of cleanliness to ensure a conducive learning environment for students.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the construction site of the Government English Medium Primary School at Chak no 71 NB, where he reviewed the quality of work and the transparent utilization of funds.
He instructed the relevant authorities to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe, warning that no negligence in construction quality would be tolerated.
The DC emphasized that providing quality education in rural areas remained the top priority of the government.
He further ordered immediate steps to renovate old or dangerous school buildings and urged officials to strengthen community linkages to increase enrollment in public sector schools.
