6th ISCE 2026 to be held in Islamabad from May

ISLAMABAD, Feb 22 (APP):The 6th International Students Convention & Expo (ISCE) 2026 will be held from May 4–6, 2026, in Islamabad. After the successful organization of five impactful editions in Lahore, Karachi, Northern Sindh, and Faisalabad, the sixth edition is now being hosted in the federal capital.
The event is expected to bring together thousands of students, universities, academicians, researchers, industry representatives, and Vice Chancellors from across Pakistan and abroad. This three-day international gathering will provide a dynamic platform for academic engagement, innovation, professional networking, and youth empowerment.
In a significant development, Prof Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Chairperson of the Higher Education Commission, graciously accepted patronage of this mega initiative as Patron-in-Chief.
He formally launched the Convention during a prestigious cake-cutting ceremony held at the Islamabad Club, attended by ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps, Vice Chancellors, industrialists, and distinguished academic leaders.
The Convention & Expo is expected to witness participation from over 150 universities and institutions, with an anticipated footfall of more than 15,000 students. The three-day program will feature student competitions, innovation-driven project exhibitions, industrial stalls, career guidance sessions, academic and research presentations, cultural activities, and various sports competitions.
A major highlight will be the Lyallpur Industrial Pavilion, alongside dedicated Education, Tourism, and Diplomatic Pavilions, strengthening academia-industry and international linkages.
Student competitions and specialized workshops will be hosted at Quaid-i-Azam University, while other educational and research institutions in Islamabad and Rawalpindi will organize parallel seminars, panel discussions, and thematic academic sessions as part of the broader Convention framework.
In addition, international sporting engagements will further enhance the global outreach of the Convention.
The International Handball Referees Training and Certification Course will be organized from May 5–15, 2026, followed by the International Handball Tournament from May 17–22, 2026, at Government College University Faisalabad, with participation from national and international teams.
The 6th International Students Convention & Expo 2026 aims to serve as a comprehensive and impactful platform for nurturing youth talent, fostering creativity and leadership skills, strengthening academic and industrial collaboration, promoting international sporting relations, and expanding global cooperation.
The event is poised to become a significant milestone in advancing educational harmony and empowering the next generation of leaders at both national and international levels.
