SIALKOT, Feb 21 (APP):University of Sialkot (USKT) on Saturday entered into a strategic partnership with Dr.Abdul Sattar’s Lab to provide students with practical training and professional development opportunities.
The collaboration,formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will particularly benefit the faculty of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences,focusing on the MLT (Medical Laboratory Technology) and RIT (Radiology and Imaging Technology) departments.
Under the agreement,students will gain hands-on laboratory training,structured house job opportunities upon graduation and a 40 percent discount on all laboratory tests for students,faculty and staff.
The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor(VC) Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman,Dean Dr.Tanvir Ali Khan Shirwany, and Head of MLT Saba Safdar.
It was endorsed by Prof.Dr.Abdul Sattar,Director of the laboratory and Regional Manager Zarar Ahmed Khan.
University officials said the partnership aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice,equipping students with skills aligned with the demands of the healthcare sector.
