Court seeks Challan in foreign funding case till March 5

ISLAMABAD, Feb 20 (APP): A Banking Court on Friday directed the prosecution to submit case Challan till March 5, against PTI founder and others in foreign funding case.
Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar of Banking Court heard the case. During hearing, the court was told that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf CFO Siraj Ahmed and Private Bank Employee Faisal Qazi have also been included in Investigation after which the FIA has decided to reissue Challan.
Special Prosecutor Wasiq Malik Appeared in the Court in the Foreign Funding Case.
He said that earlier, a partial Challan of this case has been submitted. Now two new accused have also joined the investigation.
Later, instead of a supplementary Challan, the full Challan will be submitted to the court, he said.
The court inquired that “how much time do you need to complete the Challan” but the prosecutor again requested for 10 to 15 days. He said “we will submit the full Challan.”
On the occasion, the court also granted Interim bail to accused Siraj Ahmed and Faisal Qazi till March 5, and adjourned further hearing.
