RAWALPINDI, Feb 19 (APP): On the directives of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam, Ramazan packages were distributed among the families of City Traffic Police martyrs, a CTP spokesman said on Thursday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Traffic, Civil Lines Circle, visited the residence of martyred traffic warden Shahid Sarwar, met his father and children, and offered prayers for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks.
A Ramazan package was also handed over to the martyr’s father on behalf of the traffic police.
CTO Farhan Aslam said that as a nation, “we are indebted to the eternal sacrifices of our martyrs,” adding that police martyrs were the nation’s real heroes.
He assured that the families of martyrs should never feel alone, as “the entire police force stands with them in times of joy and sorrow”.
