ISLAMABAD, Feb 19 (APP):The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) has announced a four-day Modern Calligraphy Workshop to be held from March 02 to 05 at the National Art Gallery in Islamabad.
The workshop is open to both beginners and professionals and will run daily from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The workshop will be conducted by Master Calligrapher Nasir Khan Seemab, a well-established figure in Pakistan’s calligraphy community known for his command over both classical and contemporary calligraphic styles.
Under his instruction, participants will receive hands-on training in professional techniques, work with different scripts, and develop a practical understanding of modern calligraphic approaches. Direct guidance and feedback will be provided throughout each session.
The four-day format is structured to allow participants to build their skills progressively.
Each three-hour session will focus on technical development through live demonstrations and guided practice, allowing attendees to apply what they learn each day before returning for the next.
The curriculum has been designed to accommodate both absolute beginners and experienced practitioners.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to display their completed work at the PNCA National Art Gallery, providing a formal platform to present their work to a wider audience.
The Pakistan National Council of the Arts is the country’s primary national institution for the promotion and preservation of arts and culture.
