ISLAMABAD, Feb 18 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have finalized comprehensive security arrangements for the holy month of Ramazan, deploying over 3,500 officers and personnel across the federal capital.
An official told APP on Wednesday that the arrangements were reviewed during an important meeting chaired by SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza, attended by zonal SPs, circle SDPOs, and SHOs.

During the meeting, the SSP Qazi issued clear directives to ensure foolproof security and effective policing throughout Ramazan, particularly during Sehr, Iftar, and Taraweeh hours.

Qazi instructed officers to maintain heightened vigilance during Ramazan and ensure professional conduct while performing duties.
He further directed zonal SPs, circle SDPOs, and SHOs to personally supervise and check security duties to ensure effective implementation of the plan.
Qazi Ali Raza also ordered officers to intensify operations against criminal elements, including land grabbers, illegal weapon holders, and drug peddlers.
He emphasised strict action against active gangs, proclaimed offenders, and habitual criminals involved in serious offences.
The SSP Qazi reiterated a zero-tolerance policy against kite flying and kite selling, directing intensified crackdowns.
