ISLAMABAD, Feb 18 (APP): Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Wednesday, appreciating the high level of digitalization within the Russian tax system and invited Russian professionals to share technical expertise and best practices with Pakistani counterparts to support Pakistan’s digitalization efforts.
The ambassador visited the Federal Tax Service of Russia to meet with Commissioner Daniil Egorov.
The meeting focused on the implementation of cutting-edge technology to improve fiscal transparency and tax administration.
Ambassador Tirmizi was briefed on various digital solutions developed and successfully employed by the Russian side, including the automated VAT control system, the online cash register system that enables real-time monitoring of retail transactions, and other digital solutions for taxpayer convenience, a press release said.
