ISLAMABAD, Feb 17 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday attended the funeral of former senator Alam Sher Khan Mehsud.
At the funeral, Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Defence Sardar Fatehullah Khan Miankhel, political figures and a large number of people from different walks of life were also present.
After offering funeral prayers, the Governor met the bereaved family, including Federal Secretary Communications Ali Sher Mehsud and DIG Aftab Alam Mehsud, and extended his heartfelt condolences.
He prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the family to bear the loss with patience.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi also expressed profound grief over the demise of the wife of Pakistan Peoples Party’s KP Deputy General Secretary Malik Muhammad Saeed Khan.
In a condolence message, he said that in this hour of grief, he and all party workers stand with Malik Saeed, his son Malik Adil and other members of the bereaved family.
He prayed that Allah Almighty may grant higher ranks to the departed soul and bestow patience upon the family.
