Motorbikes, three-wheelers sale increases 32.04 percent in 7 months: PAMA

ISLAMABAD, Feb 15 (APP):The sale of motorbikes and three-wheelers in the country has witnessed an increase of 32.04 per cent during the first seven months of the current fiscal year (2025-26) as compared to sales of the corresponding months of the last year.
During July-January (2025-26), as many as 1103,356 motorbikes and three-wheelers were sold against the sale of 835,616 units in July-January (2024-25), according to the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA).
The sale of Honda motorcycles surged by 34.49 per cent from 703,226 units to 945,801 units, whereas the sale of Suzuki motorcycles also rose by 45.80 per cent from 13,910 units to 20,282 units during the period under review.
The sales of United Auto motorcycles witnessed an increase of 26.54 per cent from 80,370 units to 101,703 units, while the sales of Yamaha motorbikes came down to 1,333 units from 3,132 units, witnessing a decrease of 57.43 per cent.
Meanwhile, the sale of United Auto three-wheelers increased from 581 units to 844 units during the period under review, while the sale of Qingqi three-wheelers also increased by 5.30 percent from 6,203 units to 6,532 units.
However, Sazgar three-wheelers sales slipped by 2.21 per cent to 14,574 units from 14,904 units last year.
